DIXONS GROUP SELECTS YANTRA TO DRIVE FULFILMENT EFFICIENCY
UK`s Largest Consumer Electronics Retailer to Implement Yantra`s Retail Customer Order Management Solution at Central Distribution Facility
BERKSHIRE, United Kingdom - August 2, 2004 - Yantra Corporation (www.yantra.com), the leading provider of solutions for Fulfilment Excellence, announced today that Dixons Group, the UK`s largest consumer electronics retailer, has selected Yantra`s Retail Customer Order Management solution to improve fulfilment efficiency at its central distribution facility in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Dixons Group is implementing the Yantra solution to improve fulfilment processes for customer home delivery and store replenishment orders, enhancing customer service and enhancing the operational efficiency of the Newark operation.
Opened in mid 2003, the Newark Hub services more than 1,000 Dixons Group stores in the UK and Ireland. The facility has 715,000 square feet of operational space storing over 130,000 units of stock across 2,000 product lines.

With Yantra`s Retail Customer Order Management solution, Dixons Group will be able to automate and execute best practices for fulfilment using Yantra`s business process management and workflow capabilities. Dixons Group will also use Yantra Reverse Logistics to manage and track returned orders. Throughout the fulfilment and returns processes, Yantra`s event management capabilities will identify and resolve any exceptions that arise.
