ClearCommerce expands offering to support POS and online transactions
ClearCommerce Corp., a provider of payment processing and risk management software for e-commerce, today released a unified platform for combining retail point-of-sale and online transaction processing.
ClearCommerce says the new ClearCommerce Engine 5.0 will enable merchants to consolidate reporting by integrating retail point-of-sale and online transaction processing and reduce costs associated with running parallel systems for online and offline businesses.
The enhancement also expands capabilities for financial institutions and other e-commerce service providers to deliver fraud prevention and payment processing services to online merchant customers worldwide. ClearCommerce says that new management features will enable service providers to serve complex, multi-merchant environments, providing enhanced fraud protection and expanded payment support.
In addition, ClearCommerce Engine 5.0 supports the new American Express address verification method, AAV+, new payment processor interfaces to HSBC and First Data Europe, and Chase ACH cash concentration and disbursement payment types.
