Voltexx Chooses Ecometry Commerce Suite
South Florida marketer of printer and copier supplies selects robust Ecometry software
to enhance customer service through its web site and outbound call center
DELRAY BEACH, FL (August 30, 2004) Ecometry, the industry leading provider of software for multi-channel and direct commerce companies, today announced that Voltexx, a national marketer of printer and copier supplies at wholesale prices, has selected the Ecometry Commerce Suite to power its multi-channel sales operations.
Voltexx’s husband and wife owners, Ron and Lee Levy, said they purchased Ecometry to “take the company to the next level.” Their old software was “maxed out” and there was no support from the company that provided it. It simply could not accommodate the company’s growth. “We needed smoother operations to better serve our customers,” Ron stated. “We also wanted to improve our warehouse operations – with Ecometry we will ship products faster and more cost effectively.”
In business for eleven years, the Pompano Beach, Florida based Voltexx, sells both to consumers and businesses. For the past two years the company focused successfully on business-to-business sales as well as government and school sales, including servicing the huge South Florida school districts of Broward and Dade counties.

The Levys believe that CRM, coupled with five account managers they have recently hired, will provide their customers with premium personalized service and individual attention.
Voltexx is an environmentally proactive company. They buy back used printing cartridges from their customers to be recycled, and make it easy by providing prepaid labels to ship back the cartridges. Lee Levy explained that a customer can choose to receive money back for used cartridges, apply credit toward a future order, or donate the refund money to their favorite charity. She said more and more customers are choosing the donation option and Voltexx is proud of the contributions to worthy charities that have been made through this innovative program.
