RedPrairie Delivers Visibility, Lot Track and Trace Capabilities Critical to the Food & Beverage Industry

WAUKESHA, Wis.--June 21, 2002--RedPrairie(TM) Corporation (formerly McHugh Software International), the leading provider of real-time, end-to-end logistics solutions, was recently chosen by Swiss Colony, a top food catalog and e-commerce provider, to create competitive advantage through RedPrairie`s DigitaLogistix(TM) suite of best-of-breed supply chain technology. RedPrairie is supplying Swiss Colony warehouse management and real-time, network-wide visibility, with track and trace capabilities critical to food manufacturing and distribution.

According to Swiss Colony`s Executive Director of Operations Chris Finley, "As a food supplier, timing and tracking is critical for us. We needed several key capabilities for which RedPrairie is recognized and respected." Swiss Colony requires radio frequency directed work; inventory visibility; centralization of business operations; wave processing; and manufacturing and production support for the food division. DigitaLogistix(TM) will be implemented first in Swiss Colony`s three non-food division locations. Its 225,000 sq. ft. Madison warehouse, which handles two million shipments a year, will go live with the software on October 1 and its Clinton, Wis. and DeWitt, Iowa warehouses will implement it in early 2003. Swiss Colony`s 270,000 sq. ft. Monroe food business, which ships the majority of its three million yearly packages in a six-week period prior to the holiday season, is slated to go live in fall 2003. RedPrairie`s LENS(TM) will be implemented at that time to provide corporate-wide visibility to Swiss Colony`s fulfillment operations.

Finley said, "We are confident that RedPrairie`s solutions will help us meet our internal objectives, including: cutting labor costs by 15 percent and better utilization of our facilities to reduce 3PL storage costs by 10 percent." Additional Swiss Colony objectives include: saving time by eliminating manual keying required by its current legacy system; reducing technology support needs by implementing a centralized application; and improving receiving from its large, fast-changing supplier base by providing them with ASN generation and transmittal capabilities through RedPrairie`s DLx(R) Supplier.
