Escalate® Supplier 6.0 Brings Powerful Supply Chain Order Management and
Vendor Collaboration Capabilities to Retailers

today announced the availability of Escalate Supplier 6.0 and the new Order
to Receipt module for purchasing and replenishment. The new version allows
buyers to manage and collaborate with all their vendors to achieve better
order execution and inventory planning. Retailers can now manage and track
orders from the time the order is created in the planning system through
the entire fulfillment cycle, including monitoring inbound shipments to
distribution centers and stores. The resulting visibility into the
performance of the supply chain can then be used for analysis to drive
continuous improvement of the supply chain over time.
These new products expand the capabilities of the Supplier product line,
taking business-to-business connectivity to the next level. The new module
adds up to 15% to the retailer`s bottom line by linking the entire vendor
network, simplifying seasonal ordering, lowering inventory and shipping
costs and improving order visibility. Finally, retailers have a
network-wide, real-time window into inventory commitments, shipments and
orders across the entire supply chain.

The Order to Receipt module provides buyers with more visibility to inbound
shipments, enabling retailers to more accurately estimate when a shipment

levels, by having more demand information when inventory deployment
decisions need to be made. In addition, retailers can manage broad product
assortments without operational concerns.
Supplier 6.0 also provides significant additional event and exception
management features. The solution automates costly manual processes for
order communication and order tracking with vendors, forecast sharing and
inventory commitments, purchase order and invoice matching, and shipment
tracking through ASNs. Using Escalate Supplier, partners can share
information over the web about orders, shipments, and inventory
commitments. The result is a lower-cost, better performing retail supply
chain.
Escalate Supplier 6.0 and the Order to Receipt module are compliant with
VICS standards. The system`s XML standard interface makes it easy to
exchange files between companies and allows for quick implementation,
typically in less than twelve weeks. Because of the system`s flexibility
and ease-of-integration, it supports the unique business processes between
retailers and each of their vendors. In addition, the system is so easy
to use, training new vendors takes less than one hour and requires no
software on the vendors` systems, enabling retailers to add or remove
