LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. July 2, 2002 – UCCnet announced today that the Item Synchronization for Suppliers solution from IBM has been certified for UCCnet Foundation Services 2.1. Item Synchronization for Suppliers is part of the IBM WebSphere Business Integration for Retail Distribution portfolio, which provides retailers and their suppliers with industry-specific business process templates, a portfolio of connectors to leading applications, and an integration hub to help them automate their current business processes. UCCnet is a neutral, tax-exempt organization that provides item registry and data synchronization for electronic commerce based on industry-developed standards.
IBM`s Item Synchronization solution provides affordable, extensible, scalable and secure access to UCCnet. It enables suppliers to send retailers new product information automatically using UCCnet while simultaneously synchronizing the data within the suppliers’ and retailers’ back end enterprise systems. IBM WebSphere Business Integration for Retail Distribution provides customers with the best-of-breed business processes to achieve a single view of their business, customers, and channels by using sophisticated business process integration software.
