Small suppliers are fastest growing segment in supply chain software
The smallest suppliers of products to retailers may spend the least amount of money on supply chain software, but they represent the fastest growing segment of the business, reports AMR Research Inc. While the total market for supply chain software grew only 1% last year, the amount the smallest suppliers spent grew 8% while spending by the largest shrank by 1%, AMR says.
Many of the small suppliers are now following their larger brethren into web-enable supply chain system.
