eBags bags another sales channel in a deal with Buy.com
Buy.com is trying to live up to its slogan “The Internet Superstore” by adding product assortment. The latest: Bags and luggage from eBags Inc. Starting next month, shoppers at Buy.com will be able to purchase travel bags and other accessories provided by eBags.
EBags will provide a selection of 150 brands, including Samsonite, JanSport, TravelPro and Adidas, and more than 7,000 items. EBags will also act as Buy.com’s distribution partner for travel accessories.
“EBags.com will enable us to enter the luggage and travel accessories category quickly and provide the same high level service and shopping experience Buy.com customers have come to expect,” said Robert Price, president and CFO of Buy.com. “This is the first in a series of agreements we plan to announce as we broaden our product assortment.”
