ERA elects new board members
Trade group The Electronic Retailing Association, which represents direct merchants who market via infomercials, direct TV and radio and the Internet, elected new members to its Board of Directors at its annual convention this week in Las Vegas.
Elected to three terms starting immediately are:
--Mike Ackerman, director of marketing at EMSON/E Mishan & Sons Inc.
--Denise DuBarry-Hay, co-founder and chief creative officer of Thane International
--Larry Jellen, president, TL Partnership Marketing for Time Life Direct
--Jack Kirby, CEO of eBrands Commerce Group LLC
--Jeffrey Knowles, managing partner, Government Division, of Venable, Baetjer, Howard & Civiletti LLP
--Mark Lavin, president of Operator Teleservices for West Corp.
--Shigeru Ohashi, executive vice president of the Jupiter Shop Channel Co. Ltd. in Tokyo
--Rick Petry, president of Agency Services for Euro RSCG Tyee MCM
--Bret Saxon, partner with Transactional Marketing Partners
--Mark Thornton, vice president at AEGON Direct Marketing Services Inc.
