Blair`s web sales grow while total sales shrink
Web sales at Warren, PA-based apparel and home products cataloger and web merchant Blair Corp. grew 77% in the first nine months of the year from last year’s first nine months to $39 million from $22 million, the company reported today. Total sales declined 4.8% in the first nine months to $400.6 million from $420.2 million.
Web sales accounted for 9.8% of Blair’s total nine-month revenue vs. 5.2% in last year’s first nine months.
Net sales for the third quarter totaled $117.8 million vs. $123 million a year ago. Net income for Q3 was $279,386, compared to a net loss of $3.3 million in Q3 last year.
Net income for the nine months rose to $12.9 million vs. $1.9 million a year earlier.
