Former Jupiter analyst to direct strategic analysis at Nielsen/NetRatings


NetRatings Inc. has hired former Jupiter Research senior analyst Ken Cassar as director of strategic analysis. In this capacity, Cassar will oversee a team of senior analysts that provide the Nielsen/NetRatings service clients with e-commerce and media measurement and analysis.

Prior to joining NetRatings, Cassar was manager of strategic consulting at Modem Media. Previously, during five years at Jupiter, he launched Jupiter’s retail service; Cassar also has worked with Bertelsmann AG’s BMG Direct as the manager of marketing planning and analysis.

“Ken’s unparalleled experience and expertise in online commerce will provide our clients with a new level of insight and analysis,” says Charles Buchwalter, vice president of client analytics at Nielsen/NetRatings. “We’re excited about the leadership Ken will bring to the team.”
