Tomax(R) Workforce Management Scales at Winn Dixie

1000-Store Supermarket Schedules Over 100,000 Associates With Thin Client Solution

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 17 -- Tomax Corporation is pleased to announce the successful completion of enterprise roll-out of Workforce Management including advanced forecasting and wall-to-wall scheduling.

This achievement marks the culmination of an extraordinary team effort between Tomax and Winn-Dixie to provide the industry`s most accurate labor scheduling system on a super-thin connection across more than 1000 stores. Winn Dixie is scheduling more than 113,000 associates located in 12 states and in the Bahamas with Retail.net Workforce Management, representing one of the largest successful thin client labor scheduling rollouts to date.

"With Wal-Mart presenting such a competitive environment, Winn-Dixie has found a way to potentially save millions of dollars in what is traditionally the largest controllable expense category for retailers -- labor," commented Randy Park, Vice President -- Workforce Solutions for Tomax. "Our Workforce Management application is the heart and soul of those savings because of its ability to provide the industry`s best forecast, and then uniquely match each employee`s qualifications, proficiency and availability to fit that demand at precisely the time when the customer arrives needing assistance."

Tomax Corporation released Retail.net Workforce Management in 2001, replacing their legacy product, SuperSked. Currently, Tomax labor scheduling applications are used by over 50% of the Fortune 500 Grocers in North America.
