Some of the major retail.dot.commerce 6.0 enhancements include increased eCommerce functionality such as streamlined B2B interaction, additional payment options, address verification, and heightened duplicate checking with catalog requestors; and multi-currency transaction enhancements that allow retailers to provide alternative currencies at all customer touch points. Additionally, the forecasting module was streamlined with purchasing through the integration of past actual projected units with future projections; and by the autocreation of purchase orders based on these forcastings. Online reporting capabilities were added that allow retailers to track the health of their business by monitoring system wide thresholds to alert users across the modules once user defined thresholds were exceeded. The customer service module offers enhancements that include user defined email confirmation for shipping, returns and order confirmation.
