Online sales grew 47% in week ending Oct. 13
Growth in e-retail sales kept up its strong growth in the week ending Oct. 13, comScore Media Metrix reports. Online retail sales that week grew 47% to $834 million from the comparable week a year earlier.
However, total retail sales that week were up only 0.8% to $73.8 billion from the comparable week a year ago, reports the ShopperTrak RTC National Retail Sales estimate.
Travel spending for the week was up 57% to $607 million from a year ago.
