Fireclick rolls out a new marketing campaign management tool
Fireclick Inc. is planning to roll out its Campaign Tracking module as part of its Netflame product tomorrow. The service will be made available automatically to users of the Netflame Plus product. Netflame is an ASP service that combines web analytics, measurement and monitoring with content acceleration.
“Fireclick’s Netflame proved that faster page downloads encourage longer browsing sessions and greatly increase the conversion of online shoppers to buyers,” said Ram Srinivasan, Fireclick’s president and CEO. “We expect our new Campaign Tracking module to have a similar effect, re-focusing the market on cost-per-customer acquired, as opposed to the current CPM or even CPC measurements.”
The Campaign Tracking module measures results of online marketing campaigns including e-mail, affiliate programs, and keyword search terms. “With the Campaign Tracking module, we have extended our ability to measure and react to our users at the origin of their web experience: we can now analyze the ROI and conversion rates of the search terms we sponsor, in minutes,” said Shannon Stowell, vice president of business development at Altrec, an online sports store which has been a beta site for the Campaign Tracking module. “We are now experiencing a significant improvement in search-to-visit conversion rates.”
Fireclick says customers for its hosted web measurement and management services grew 35% in the third quarter and include such retailers as Tower Records and Lillian Vernon Corp. Pricing for Netflame starts at $1,295 per month. The Netflame Plus upgrade starts at $695 per month.
