Online retail spending rises 32% in first week of March
Online retail spending rose 32% year-over-year, to $1.23 billion from $933 million, for the week ended March 7, comScore Networks reports.
Total retail spending for the week ended March 6 rose 8.6% over corresponding week a year earlier, according to ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate.
Online travel sales for the week ended March 7 rose 70% to $1.25 billion, up from $735 million a year earlier, comScore reports.
