Cabela’s files for initial public stock offering
Cabela’s Inc., a multi-channel retailer of hunting and camping supplies and related outdoor equipment, has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of common stock.
A written preliminary prospectus related to the offering will be available from Credit Suisse First Boston LLC, and JPMorgan Securities, both in New York. Cabela’s was unable to comment on the amount of capital expected to be raised or what it will be used for. The SEC filing was not yet available for public view.
