Open Pantry Service to Provide ClemensMarkets.com Shoppers with an Expanded Selection of Grocery Items

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ and KULPSVILLE, PA, August 05, 2002 - NeXpansion announced today that Clemens Family Markets, an operator of 20 grocery stores in Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware counties of Pennsylvania, has selected the Company`s Endless Aisle technology to expand its product assortment via the web. Available on ClemensMarkets.com in September 2002, customers will have online access to items not carried in their stores. Now, hard-to-find regional, ethnic and specialty foods will be available through Open Pantry, Clemens` custom-branded application of the Endless Aisle technology. NeXpansion, a provider of turnkey technology and fulfillment solutions for manufacturers and retailers and the founding company of Netgrocer.com, offers retailers an increased selection of products - either online or via in-store kiosks - to help build and sustain customer loyalty.

To begin shopping, customers can simply click on the Open Pantry link at www.clemensmarkets.com and then follow simple, onscreen instructions to locate desired hard-to-find food items and general merchandise products. Upon selecting a payment method, the process is completed and the order is shipped directly to the customer`s home. If a Clemens customer is unable to find a specific product through the Open Pantry service, NeXpansion will work to find the item for the customer and provide a response within ten business days.
