Quixtar.com, a subsidiary of Alticor Inc., which also owns Amway, recorded a record day with sales of $11 million on March 31, the company reports. Sales that day pushed March online sales over $100 million, the first month since Quixtar.com launched in 1999 that sales reached that level the company says.
Quixtar recorded sales of $1.035 billion in the fiscal year that ended Aug. 31. In addition, the company says the site generated $58.3 million in sales at sites for which Quixtar hosts a link, including KBToys.com and OfficeMax.com.
