(Palo Alto, CA, August 12, 2002) -- Coupons, Inc., the leading provider of consumer-printed coupon and Internet-based marketing and technology solutions, has appointed Jeffrey Weitzman, former Senior Director of Client Services at Yahoo! Inc., as the company`s Chief Operating Officer. The appointment is effective immediately.

Based in Silicon Valley, Coupons, Inc. offers a proprietary technology infrastructure that enables consumer goods manufacturers, advertisers, retailers, promotional marketing companies and portals to deliver, via online media, a guaranteed unique coupon certificate to an individual consumer’s printer.

At Coupons, Inc., Mr. Weitzman is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day operations and overseeing its sales and marketing, technology and business operations. “As a pioneer and recognized leader in the online publishing industry, Jeff Weitzman brings over a decade of experience in operations management and promotions marketing to Coupons, Inc.,” says Steven Boal, President, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Coupons, Inc.

Mr. Weitzman comes to Coupons, Inc. from Yahoo! (NASDAQ: YHOO) where he recently co-chaired the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s task force on industry standard Terms and Conditions. Mr. Weitzman managed all post-sale client services for Yahoo!`s advertising clients, including account management, advertising operations, and technical operations. Prior to that, he directed field sales operations and promotion marketing teams at Yahoo! and operations at Yoyodyne, Inc. before its acquisition by Yahoo! Earlier, as COO at Counsel Connect, a Time-Warner (NYSE: AOL) company, Mr. Weitzman helped define the fledgling online publishing industry. He also served as an associate attorney at Shearman & Sterling.

Mr. Weitzman holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He resides in Palo Alto, Calif.
