RedEnvelope projects 12% in Q4 sales lift from last year’s Q4
Online and catalog gift retailer RedEnvelope Inc. expects fourth quarter revenue to be $16.9 million to $17.3 million, the company reported today, up 12% from last year’s Q4 revenue of $15.1 million. Its fiscal year fourth quarter ended March 28.
“We experienced higher full-price sell through, as we offered fewer sale items than the corresponding period in the prior year,” said Alison May, president and CEO. “As we noted in February, we have made strides in addressing issues at our distribution center since the holiday period. Both our accuracy rate and personalization turnaround time exceeded our expectations.” She said the company is making further improvements.
RedEnvelope plans to issue financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year on May 11.
