Flowers and miles together at FTD.com

Flower and gift e-retailer FTD.com is offering customers 10 American Airlines AAdvantage Miles for every dollar they spend at FTD.com, the company announced today. Both FTD.com and American Airlines will promote the arrangement; FTD.com through e-mail and direct marketing campaigns to its customer database as well as newsletters and inserts to American's 43 million members, and American Airlines through mailings and other marketing channels, citing FTD.com as one of its top, preferred marketing partners for flowers and gifts.

"This partnership provides FTD.com with the ability to market to more than 43 million new consumers and offer them something they want--more AAdvantage Miles and beautiful flowers and gifts from FTD.com," stated Michael Soenen, president and CEO of FTD.com.
