Online retail spending rose 32% year-to-year for the week ended April 25, to $1.17 billion from $889 million in the comparable week last year, comScore Networks Inc. reports.
Total retail sales for the week ended April 24 declined 0.3% year-to-year, according to ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate, which also notes that total retail sales for the month of April fell 4.7% year-to-year.
Online travel sales declined 17% for the week ended April 25, to $716 million from $859 million a year ago, comScore reports.
