Multi-Channel Retail Software Suite Retail.Dot.Commerce 6.01 Offers Enhanced Functionality Through New Workflow Module and Email Repository

This intermediate upgrade offers enhanced functionality through a new workflow module and email repository that will continue to help customers increase productivity and drive cost efficiencies.

retail.dot.commerce 6.01 provides retailers and direct marketers with an integrated suite of applications that support the entire retail transaction lifecycle. The latest version, which builds upon the functionality of the recently released retail.dot.commerce 6.0, offers several new functions including a workflow module, which allows retailers to direct work to individuals or work groups based on specific events and an email repository that easily stores email correspondence with customers.

The workflow module allows order and customer related tasks to be assigned to individuals or groups based on specific business events and subsequently manages the completion of those tasks. The tasks can be automatically or manually created from various touch points in retail.dot.commerce or from an outside system, such as a storefront or a warehouse management system.

The email repository is enabled by integration.dot.commerce, CommercialWare`s integration platform, which reads and forwards email messages to retail.dot.commerce 6.01 and saves them under the appropriate order and/or customer record for future reference. These emails can be displayed from various customer touch points through out retail.dot.commerce 6.01.
