Retek Data Warehouse Now Available on Teradata
Solution provides retailers with integrated decision management capabilities
DAYTON, Ohio – October 1, 2002 – Teradata, a division of NCR (NYSE: NCR), announced today that it has joined forces with Retek Inc. (Nasdaq: RETK) to provide retailers with a complete analytical software solution. The Retek Data Warehouse (RDW) solution will be powered by Teradata’s-highly scalable database to give retailers an enterprise--wide view of their business, lowering database administrative costs and reducing total cost of ownership.

Earlier this year, rigorous volume testing was successfully completed at Teradata’s Rancho Bernardo, Calif., facility to validate the Retek 10 Retek Data Warehouse on Teradata’s database platform.
