Omniture appoints vice president of channel sales
Mark Dillon, with 16 years of sales and sales management experience in the analytics, e-commerce and B2B industries, has been named vice present of channel sales for analytics provider Omniture Inc.
Prior to his promotion, Dillon was senior director of channel sales at Omniture, where he played a key role in creating and maintaining relationships with more than 40 channel partners. Previously, Dillon held a senior-level sales position at WebSideStory, where he closed deals with several of the company`s largest clients. He also has held sales positions at Digital Commerce Corp and Epoch Internet.
In his new role, a newly-created position at Omniture, Dillon will lead Omniture’s global channel strategy aimed at fostering relationships with key partners such as marketing agencies and resellers, while also pursuing channel sales.
“With increasing market demand for the Omniture SiteCatalyst platform, the time is ripe to expand our channel program with additional dedicated resources that will further enhance partner and customer relationships,” Dillon says.
Dillon will report to Christopher Harrington, VP of sales at Omniture. "Mark has spent nearly two decades developing an understanding of the intricacies necessary for building successful relationships with partners and customers and will leverage his expertise to expand our market leadership,” Harrington says.
