Timebeat.com extends branding into fragrances


Luxury goods Internet retailer Timebeat.com Enterprises Inc. has picked up on a growing consumer interest in custom perfumes and has worked with a perfume developer to create two trademarked, pheromone-based fragrances that will initially be available exclusively on its teen web site, Timebeat4teens.com, this fall. Both Dance, for women, and Classified, for men, contain pheromones, a substance that reacts to individual body chemistry to make the fragrance different – “customized” -- on every wearer. Both fragrances are the property of Timebeat.com, which worked with fragrance developer Palm Beach Perfumery to formulate them. Timebeat4teens.com will shortly start accepting orders for the fragrances online. The company plans to eventually market them to leading department and specialty stores.
