Luggage Online’s Q1 sales rise 40% over year ago
Q1 sales at Luggage Online, an Internet seller of luggage, business cases, and travel accessories, are up 40% compared to Q1 a year ago, the company reported today. “We continue to add new product, make it easier to shop the Luggage Online web site, and look for ways to attract new customers.” says Tim Jacobsen, vice president of e-commerce. “As long as we can continue to bring new customers to the site and, at the same time, increase conversion rates, the sky is the limit. This year is getting stronger and stronger. For the first ten days of April we are up 73%.”
Luggage Online’s sales have been increasing at a rate of 35-40% per year since 1998. The company attributes recent growth to a redesigned site that launched in August and expansion of its warehouse in Cherry Hill, NJ.
