Barnes & Noble Q1 web sales remain flat
Barnes & Noble Inc. is reporting flat e-commerce sales for the first quarter. In Q1 2006, BarnesandNoble.com Inc. posted sales of $91.1 million, which is the same e-commerce revenue the multi-channel books retailer reported in Q1 2005.
For the quarter, Barnes & Noble, No. 30 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites, posted overall sales of $1.14 billion, an increase of 1.6% from sales of $1.09 billion in Q1 2005.
In 2005, Barnes & Noble had e-commerce sales of $439.7 million, compared with 2004 e-commerce sales of $419.8 million, an increase of 4.7%.
