BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash., Oct. 30, 2002 - Mercury Online Solutions, Inc., a provider of Web-based in-store display networks for Fortune 500 retailers, today announced it has successfully launched AT&T Wireless` nationwide Digital Messaging System (DMS).

AT&T Wireless` DMS is a large and sophisticated network of in-store displays, with a total of 2,500 digital display screens and interactive kiosks installed and networked in more than 800 AT&T Wireless retail stores throughout the country. Mercury Online Solutions reports it will deliver more than 1,000 additional displays by year-end.

"Mercury Online Solutions is helping us set the standard for the next generation of point-of-sale displays and kiosks," said Michael la Villa, director of store development for AT&T Wireless. "The company has unique expertise in the industry and is respected by people in IT, marketing and finance for their ability to facilitate collaboration and deliver on time."

Mercury Online Solutions provides the hardware, software, rollout management, monitoring, content management and maintenance for AT&T Wireless` network of displays.

"AT&T Wireless has been an ideal client for showcasing our approach and capabilities," said John Eisenhauer, president of Mercury Online Solutions. "Their high standards and commitment to creating a dynamic customer experience demand that the ongoing quality of DMS is second to none."

Immediacy and reliability are two key benefits of Mercury Online Solutions` approach. The network combines both "push" and interactive messaging, controlled and delivered through a Web-based network to plasma screens and kiosk-like displays. The content and messages displayed to customers in stores can be updated within seconds.

Mercury Online Solutions maintains an average uptime of 99.2 percent for all devices in the DMS network. Maintenance costs are kept below industry averages because the company builds a completely homogeneous network, with standardized components in all devices for cost control and ease of maintenance.
