Redcats promotes two top execs and brand managers


Direct marketer Redcats USA has named two executives to be in charge of some of its most well known catalog and e-commerce brands. The company has named Christophe Gaigneux as executive vice president for Boston Apparel Group, which includes the Chadwick’s, Lerner Catalog, La Redoute USA and Jessica London brands.

Gaigneux originally joined Redcats USA in March of 2003 as executive vice president of the special sizes group, which includes the Lane Bryant Catalog, Roaman’s KingSize and Jessica London brands. As the executive in charge, Gaigneux helped the business unit achieve record sales, says Redcats USA. He will report directly to Redcats USA CEO Eric Faintreny.

Redcats also has appointed John Mallon as a senior vice president and general brand manager for the Chadwick’s and Jessica London catalogs and web sites. Mallon, who will report directly to Gaigneux, was vice president and general brand manager for Jessica London. Prior to joining Redcats, No. 25 in the Internet Retailer Top 400 Guide to Retail Web Sites, Mallon held several senior positions at Popular Club, a division of Federated Direct.
