comScore expects $22 million in Q3 revenue
Web audience measurement company comScore Inc.’s preliminary financial results for third quarter 2007 ended Sept. 30, 2007, indicate revenue ranging from $22.1 million to $22.5 million. The preliminary results exceed the company’s previous guidance for Q3 2007 revenue of $21.5 million to $22 million and project an increase of 37% to 39% compared to the third quarter of 2006.
ComScore expects Q3 2007 GAAP net income of $3.5 million to $3.9 million, an increase of 119% to 145% year-over-year. Adjusted net income will range from $4.4 million to $4.8 million for the third quarter of 2007, the company estimates, an increase of 119% to 139% compared with the same quarter of 2006.
Adjusted EBITDA -- earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization -- will range from $4.2 million to $4.6 million, the company projects. Excluding an estimated $700,000 in public company costs in Q3 2007, comScore’s first full fiscal quarter as a public company, adjusted EBITDA growth will fall between 85% and 100% compared with the prior year quarter, the company says.
ComScore sold 5.3 million shares in its June initial public stock offering on the Nasdaq exchange, raising about $73.7 million.
