Freeborders appoints new EVP of global accounts and operations
Outsourced sourcing technology provider Freeborders has named Jim Reesing as executive vice president of global accounts and operations. Freeborders provides outsourced technology solutions from China to North American and European companies to sectors including retail and consumer brand manufacturers. Reesing, with more than 12 years of experience in IT services and outsourcing, has extensive familiarity with the offshore delivery model.
At Freeborders, his responsibilities will include driving revenue growth and implementing operational best practices across the enterprise. “Jim’s global services expertise will be key as we continue to build a world-class, China-based delivery model," says Freeborders CEO John Cestar. “With his experience in driving global growth initiatives, he will be a strong contributor as the company continues to fortify its position within the global IT outsourcing market.”
Previously, Reesing served as vice president of worldwide sales at Kanbay International, a global services company specializing in IT outsourcing solutions for the financial services industry. Prior to Kanbay, he held a variety of executive positions at companies including IBM and Wang Global, a provider of IT services and outsourcing solutions in the application and infrastructure markets.
