Comet Systems Inks Partnerships with Clicthbutton.com, DealTime, and PriceGrabber, Resulting in Shopping Cursor

New York City—June 4, 2001—Comet Systems, developer of the Comet Cursor software, today announced partnerships with Clickthebutton.com, DealTime, and PriceGrabber, resulting in a new Shopping Cursor. This will allow the Comet Cursor`s tens of millions of users to compare prices with a single click while they are shopping on the Internet.

The product pricing information is immediately available through Comet`s new Shopping Cursor, part of the Comet Cursor download at www.CometCursor.com. Those who have installed the Comet Cursor are now able to search on any product by clicking on the product name with their Shopping Cursor. Users can also enter the product name into the Comet Cursor Companion at the top of their browser. The Shopping Cursor may also appear at product pages on the Internet, ready to offer pricing comparisons to users on specific products as they shop.

Clickthebutton.com and Comet Systems have teamed to develop the technology that offers the Shopping Cursor at specific product pages on the Internet, as Comet Cursor users shop at online stores. Partnerships with DealTime and PriceGrabber allow Comet Cursor users to search and compare products, prices, and stores across the Web with the Comet Cursor Companion and Shopping Cursor.

"We are delighted to be working with Comet Systems," said Cheyenne Ehrlich, Chairman and CEO of Clickthebutton.com. "The Comet Cursor is clearly one of the most popular and widely deployed software applications on the Internet. Marrying our shopping technology with their excellent software and extensive reach will create one of the most widely deployed shopping applications on the Web."

"The Shopping Cursor is a dream feature for the Comet Cursor," said Jamie Rosen, President and Chairman of Comet Systems. "The revenue potential is very strong, and what user wouldn`t want to be able to compare prices when they are about to buy something on the Internet. It helps Comet Systems, our partners, but most of all it helps tens of millions of Comet Cursor users."

Over 75 million unique Internet users have downloaded the Comet Cursor, and its userbase is growing by over two million users per month. Comet Systems` traffic has surged with its recent new services, and Nielsen//NetRatings recently ranked Comet Systems the 23rd largest global Internet property, with over 13 million unique visitors to its properties (April 2001).
