Sears plans to add card services to its web site

Sears, Roebuck and Co. plans to use Incurrent Solutions Inc.’s CardSite Internet-based CRM solutions to expand its credit card services on sears.com later this year. Sears has nearly 60 million Sears Card and Gold MasterCard credit card holders. Sears officials say providing card services both online and offline is part of the company’s commitment to a multiple channel strategy. Sears says it chose CardSite for its powerful features, ease of implementation and its established, integrated links with its credit card processor, Total System Services Inc. CardSite allows cardholders real-time access to account information, statements, bill payment, secure e-mail, reports, searches, interactive sessions and other service-enhancing tools for web, wireless and voice channels.
