Victoria’s Secret Direct lands two high-profile executives
Ann Acierno, former general manager of The Estee Lauder Cos.’ online efforts, has joined Victoria’s Secret Direct, part of Intimate Brands Inc., as executive vice president and general merchandise manager for clothing. Stanley Leibowitz, former executive vice president and chief operating officer of Nieman Marcus Direct, joined Vicotira’s Secret Direct as EVP and chief administrative officer.
Acierno will be responsible for the creation, development and
execution of short and long-range merchandising strategies in support of
Victoria`s Secret Direct. Leibowitz will be responsible for finance, fulfillment, merchandise planning, inventory management and information technology.
Acierno also was president of In Style.com, the e-commerce division of the
People Group division of Time Inc. Prior to In Style.com, she was senior
vice president, general merchandise manager of Saks.com, and later held the
same position for Folio, both divisions of Saks Fifth Avenue.
Liebowitz also was senior manager and catalog industry expert at Deloitte Consulting;
corporate vice president, strategic planning and sales/customer satisfaction
at Spiegel Group; and vice president, national retail practice director for
Retail Consulting Services at the Hay Group.
Intimate Brands is a retailer of intimate apparel, beauty and personal care products as well as home décor products through the Victoria`s Secret, Bath & Body Works and White Barn Candle Co. brands.
