HSN names Lynne Ronon executive vice president of merchandising
Retail industry veteran Lynne Ronon has been appointed executive vice president of merchandising for multi-channel retailer HSN. In her new role, she’ll oversee planning and direction for all of HSN’s merchandising strategies, programs and policies in its key categories. She’ll also be responsible for furthering partnerships with HSN’s brand name partners, developing exclusive HSN bands, and expanding product assortments as well as product development.
Prior to joining HSN, Ronan had served Burberry’s North Asia unit as senior vice president since 2003. There, she was responsible for all merchandise buying and product development, uniting franchise and global operations and implementing a global strategy. Previously, Ronan was with Lane Crawford, a 150-year-old luxury department store in Hong Kong and China, most recently as senior vice president, commercial.
She also was with Saks Fifth Avenue for 16 years, where she held various positions including Saks.com senior vice president, and chief merchant, among others. She began her career at Gimbel’s East.
