ATLANTA, June 8 -- Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN) announced
today an agreement with goEmerchant.com to provide a secure and cost-effective
eCommerce enabling product for small and mid-sized merchants.
The innovative product set offered through this partnership provides the
ability to sell products and services over the Internet, while securely
processing credit card transactions through Global Payments processing
network.
A guided, template-based package powered by goEmerchant makes it possible
to easily build an eCommerce enabled Web site. In addition, the merchant will
be offered powerful, patented marketing and sales tools to target buyers via
e-mail messages. This payment package also includes the following: Virtual
terminal, shopping cart, web hosting, and 24-hour technical support.
