SAN FRANCISCO, CA , June 13, 2001 – Netcentives Inc. (Nasdaq: NCNT), a leader in providing personalized email, rewards and recognition solutions, today announced that Eric Larsen has been named chairman of the board of directors. Larsen, age 48, also serves as chief executive officer. Larsen joined Netcentives in December 2000 as president and was elected to the board of directors in January 2001.
Immediately prior to joining Netcentives, Larsen held the position of president with Impiric, the world’s largest marketing services and customer relationship management organization, which he joined in 1998. During Larsen’s 25-year technology and marketing career, he held various executive positions with Apple Computer, Inc. and Gateway. In 1995, Larsen co-founded M2 Communications, one of the first Internet strategy firms in Silicon Valley.
