Commission Junction in deal with Yahoo Store
Yahoo Inc. has agreed to incorporate Commission Junction Inc.’s pay-for-performance advertising network into the suite of products it offers to Yahoo Store merchants, the companies have announced.
Launched in June 1998, Yahoo Store hosts online stores for more than 14,000 merchants. Yahoo Store enables merchants to create their own commerce-enabled online store for as little as $100 per month, depending on inventory size.
Under the agreement, Commission Junction’s pay-for-performance and affiliate marketing programs will be part of the services that Yahoo Store offers its merchants. The Commission Junction tracking service will be integrated into Yahoo’s store technology.

Santa Barbara, CA-based Commission Junction acts as a trusted third party managing the ad network, tracking and reporting on the ads in real time, and handling monthly commission payments to network members. The company serves more than 6 billion impressions per month.
