Under the agreement, booksinprint.com, the most authoritative search tool available for the book-buying community, will offer hard-to-find books from Alibris. By offering more than 15 million out-of-print, out-of-stock-indefinitely, and rare books from Alibris, R.R. Bowker will provide a more comprehensive selection of titles and greater convenience for customers of booksinprint.com.
By performing a title, author, or ISBN search on booksinprint.com, customers will have integrated access to hard-to-find books from Alibris, in addition to a database of four million in-print and audio books, as well as videos. This convenience will provide customers with a simple way to locate out-of-print, out-of-stock-indefinitely, and rare books that were not previously available to them.
