True Value takes its sales circulars to the web
Hardware shoppers now will be able to find what’s on sale at their local True Value hardware stores by checking the sales flyer at TrueValue.com. Chicago-based TruServe Corp., which represents 6,000 hardware stores nationwide, has selected CrossMedia Services to develop and operate TruServ`s offering of local in-store advertised products and prices on TrueValue.com.
"We`re pleased to provide our True Value retailer members with a powerful new marketing tool, thanks to CrossMedia Services` unique capabilities," said Rob Liebgott, senior vice president of sales, marketing, advertising and merchandising at TruServ. "CrossMedia Services enables us to transform our print circulars to a very appealing format that is optimized for the web and localized to serve the needs of our members."
Chicago-based CrossMedia Services Inc. was formerly known as SalesHound Inc. It also has a deal with Sears, Roebuck and Co. to post Sears’ circulars online.
