J.L. Halsey Corp., parent company of Lyris, EmailLabs and Sparklist, has named Loren McDonald vice president and chief marketing officer. McDonald formerly was vice president of marketing for EmailLabs and will continue to work at the e-mail service provider’s Menlo Park, CA, office.
Prior to EmailLabs, McDonald was the founder and president of Intevation, an e-marketing services firm specializing in e-mail and search engine marketing services. He has held executive marketing positions at companies including USWeb/CKS, NetStruxr and Arthur Andersen.
“Loren’s online marketing and thought leadership efforts have played a major role in EmailLabs significant growth and market leadership position since joining the company in 2003,” said David Burt, CEO of J.L. Halsey. “His extensive experience in both marketing and the e-mail marketing industry make him a great addition to the Halsey team.”
