Store of Knowledge joins ShoppingList.com

ShoppingList.com has signed Store of Knowledge to its shopping comparison program. Store of Knowledge is affiliated with 26 public television stations and operates 91 mall-based stores. ShoppingList.com allows consumers to compare prices and find the best deals at bricks-and-mortar stores in their local areas as well as at Internet-based retail sites. "This partnership enables us to attract new customers, re-connect with past customers, and drive traffic to both our stores and our Web site," said Store of Knowledge Chairman, President and CEO James Berk. "It is one very natural step toward fulfilling our strategic marketing goals." ShoppingLlist.com does not sell products, but rather guides consumers to nearby retailers that have the items for which they are looking. Store of Knowledge, as part of its agreement with ShoppingList.com, is prominently featured throughout the site's Toys & Games department, and is the exclusive educational toys, books and video retailer listed on the site's index of stores. Founded in 1998, ShoppingList.com is a local shopping "infomediary" for retailers, manufacturers and consumers. Searchable by product, category, store and brand, ShoppingList.com features sales information on more than 250 product categories with 30,000 brands available in 140,000 locations nationwide.
