Dave Taylor Joins Jupiter
NEW YORK, June 21 -- Jupiter Media Metrix, (Nasdaq: JMXI), the
global leader in Internet and new technology analysis and measurement, today
announced the appointment of David Taylor as senior analyst and research
fellow. Taylor, who founded Gartner Group`s e-commerce strategies consulting
practice, will lead Jupiter Media Metrix` business-to-business (b-to-b)
infrastructure research service and help develop b-to-b metrics products.
"David is well-known internationally as an Internet commerce strategy
expert," said David Schatsky, research director, Jupiter Media Metrix. "His
expertise in e-business strategies and operational metrics, customer
relationship management, supply chain management and b-to-b collaboration
will enhance our ability to provide unique value to our Global 2000
clients."
Prior to joining Jupiter Media Metrix, Taylor co-founded EMH, an e-business
strategy and metrics consulting firm that continues to help clients measure
the value of their e-business projects. His consulting career first took off
when he founded Gartner Group`s e-commerce strategies consulting practice in
1988. He remained at Gartner as group vice president of e-business until
1999.
Taylor is a recognized public speaker and has given over 500 presentations
on e-business and e-commerce in the past 15 years. Additionally, he`s a
member of several advisory boards, including Essential Markets, B2BPKG,
I-Engineering, E-Marketworld and the magazine Internet Retailer. In December
2000, Taylor co-authored "Doing E-Business," published by John Wiley & Sons.
