Best Buy Selects Instruction Set to Offer Interactive Training Courses and Host Its Online Learning Site

Alliance Will Provide Consumers with Computer and Technology Instruction

WASHINGTON--April 18, 2001-- Instruction Set, a leading Education Solutions Provider(TM) (E*SP(TM)), today announced it has been selected by Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY), the nation`s number one specialty retailer of consumer electronics, personal computers, entertainment software and appliances, to provide custom developed product training courses and a library of computing courses to its customers. In addition, Instruction Set will host Best Buy`s online learning site, "Best Buy Learning Place." Through this agreement, Best Buy customers will have the option to purchase customized courses that demonstrate how to use a variety of products as well as employ more than 90 off-the-shelf, Web-based computing courses from Instruction Set`s existing library. These existing courses cover topics such as Microsoft Office 2000, Web Development and Desktop Applications, teaching users how to maximize computer software.

"This is a great opportunity for Instruction Set to work with a nationally recognized and trusted brand," said Beran Peter, CEO of Instruction Set. "By developing specialized courses designed specifically for Best Buy, we have dramatically expanded our core business model and furthered our commitment to provide corporations and their customers with complete learning solutions."

Best Buy customers can purchase a subscription to Learning Place at the traditional brick and mortar stores or through a link on BestBuy.com.

"We are constantly searching for new ways to help our customers get the most from their Best Buy purchases. We want to make it easy for our customers to understand and quickly become productive with their purchases," said Sean Skelley, Best Buy`s vice president of marketing services. "We believe Instruction Set`s experience delivering high-quality training will translate well to a consumer electronics environment."

Best Buy Learning Place is currently available in 21 stores and will become available in all stores as part of the program`s national rollout in June.
