Fox, DreamWorks and Universal Invest in Kozmo.com

Kozmo.com said today it has received investments from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, DreamWorks International Distribution L.L.C. and Universal Studios Home Video. The studios have taken minority stakes in Kozmo and have agreed to sell videos and DVDs directly to the Internet convenience store. Kozmo will work jointly with the studios to promote their films and home videos to its 300,000 customers. The deals are expected to give New York-based Kozmo, which offers one-hour delivery of convenience store goods in 11 U.S cities, one of the largest retail selections of movies in the country. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
