INFOPIA AND SEARCHHOUND.COM ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC ALLIANCE
Partnership to provide increased exposure on search engines and online marketplaces
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH - June 27, 2001
Infopia, Inc., developer of Marketplace Manager, the first intelligent online product sales and exposure engine, and SearchHound.com, Inc. (OTCBB: SRHN; BERLIN: SHQ), a leading pay-per-click search engine, today announced a strategic alliance to offer Marketplace Manager and search engine marketing services to customers of both companies.
Under the terms of the agreement, SearchHound.com will add Marketplace Manager to their list of services.
Marketplace Manager allows SearchHound`s community of 1.2 million Webmasters to list their products and services on several hundred top online auctions and marketplaces in the Infopia network, receive back orders and valuable feedback on product performance. All of this is done under a single interface managed by Infopia. Some of the marketplaces and auctions include, Amazon, Yahoo, and eBay. SearchHound will market Infopia`s all-in-one auction and marketplace management system, for a flat monthly fee.
At the same time, Infopia will integrate SearchHound`s Keyword Advertising feature to help Infopia`s Merchant`s promote their Web sites and gain increased exposure on the Internet. Infopia will market to its merchants the ability to advertise their products and services via SearchHound`s network, which allows them to gaining higher placement in search engine results, and drive traffic directly to their Web sites on a pay-per-click basis.
