Cutter & Buck’s web marketing manager wins the car at IR2006
Jay Allen, web/catalog marketing manager at apparel retailers Cutter & Buck, won the 2006 Jaguar given away at the Internet Retailer 2006 Conference & Exhibition in Chicago this week.
Allen’s name was chosen from among hundreds of entries in the Win the Wheels sweepstakes by attendees who visited 32 sponsors’ booths and obtained color-coded stickers. “I ended up visiting booths that I would have blown by, and several of them offered services that we actually needed,” Allen said. He noted that he is already in buying discussions with at least one.
The Win the Wheels contest was sponsored by 40 vendors who advertised in the June issue of Internet Retailer and who exhibited at the conference. Attendees who participated in Win the Wheels had to gather color-coded stickers from 32 in four different groups.
IR2006 hosted 3,300 attendees and 189 exhibitors for the 3-day event.
