Commerce Hub names Doug Reed VP of sales
Electronic order management software and services provider CommerceHub has a new vice president of sales. Doug Reed, who joined CommerceHub in 2005 as eastern regional sales representative, brings more than 18 years of experience to his new role.
Previously, Reed was a sales executive with i2 Technologies, where he was responsible for increasing software license revenue in the consumer goods, retail and transportation areas by $12 million. Prior to his position with i2 Technologies, he held sales leadership roles with another company’s successful IPO and with Computational Systems Inc.
“As a result of his proven capabilities and demonstrated success at CommerceHub, I am confident that he is the right person to build and lead our sales organization,” said Frank Poore, CEO. “Doug is a real complement to our team, bringing not only excellent sales and leadership skills but also rich domain expertise in supply chain solutions.”
CommerceHub has increased business in recent months with the signing of new customers and the significant expansion of relationships with existing customers. The company notes Reed’s appointment builds on the recent momentum by further bolstering its management team and capabilities.
